2. The HomeInk app

HomeInk processes no personal data. There is no account, no sign-in, no advertising, no tracking and no analytics SDK. The app does not hold the Android INTERNET permission and therefore cannot transmit anything.

What is stored on your device only

• Your drawings (the individual strokes) and the background you chose.
• A background image you picked yourself, as a copy in the app's private storage.
• Your settings, for example pen, color, stroke width and the session time limit.
• A local note of whether Pro is unlocked.

This data lives in the app's private storage area. It is deleted when you uninstall HomeInk and cannot be read by other apps.

Permissions and what they are for

• Display over other apps — only for the drawing layer during a session. Nothing is read along and nothing is recorded.
• Foreground service — so the session keeps running while you draw.
• Notifications — optional, only if you control the session from the notification.

You pick your own background image through the system file picker. HomeInk holds no photo or storage permission and is granted access to the single file you choose, and nothing else.

3. Google Play and the Pro purchase

Buying HomeInk Pro runs entirely through the Google Play Store app. HomeInk only queries whether the purchase exists and learns nothing else about you. Google Ireland Limited is the independent controller for payment processing and your account; their privacy policy applies.

Legal basis for querying the purchase status: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (performance of the contract for the purchased feature).

4. This website

The site sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking tools and loads nothing from third-party servers. Fonts and the Google Play badge are served from this server. Only when you click the badge do you move over to Google Play.

5. Changes

This policy is updated whenever the app or the website changes. The version published here is the one that applies.
